Before joining Fluor, Stafford spent nearly 27 years at AT&T, where he held several senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner, supporting the company’s global network organization and helping align workforce strategies with business goals for approximately 50,000 employees.
At AT&T, he led leadership development, personnel planning, labor relations and organizational transformation initiatives. He was instrumental in establishing training programs in leadership, building learning ecosystems, and workforce development efforts that have touched the lives of over 200,000 employees globally.
Apart from his corporate exposure, Stafford has also served as a leadership trainer in various executive educational organizations, where he has taught courses on leadership, performance management, executive communication, and organization effectiveness.
Stafford graduated from Colorado State University Global with a master’s degree in human resources management.
