Dr. Fariah Gaba graduated from the University of Sheffield in the UK, attaining an Honours degree in Biomedical Sciences. This made her realize she loved biology, and although Dr. Gaba’s family roots are firmly set within the medical field, nonetheless, she was not planning to be a doctor – she was thinking of something else.
But, her personal tutor was the one that saw her talents and made her consider dentistry. That was the conversation that transformed her life.

Dentistry remains, in many ways, a male-dominated profession. However, Dr. Gaba believes the tide is changing as more women step forward with confidence. Her core philosophy is simple yet powerful and about the same she says, “ Stay focused, believe in your vision, and never let outside opinions shake your determination.”
She emphasizes faith in one’s own capabilities and the importance of passion. For her, dentistry is not just about treatment. It is about providing the best possible care with integrity and genuine concern for patients. She believes that if you truly believe in your idea and stay committed to it, success follows.

Dr. Gaba has a very different definition of leadership compared to what is often seen today. She observes that modern leadership is sometimes associated with aggression, authority, discrimination, and toxic work environments. She strongly disagrees with this model.
Her leadership style is rooted in equal opportunity, structured delegation, humility, ethical work, and active listening. She believes in encouraging others, supporting her team, and creating a respectful environment where everyone feels valued.
“Listening is one of the most important qualities a leader can possess. Whether interacting with colleagues or patients, one can learn from anyone,” Dr. Gaba shares.

Dr. Gaba’s academic and professional achievements reflect her dedication. She graduated in the top 1% of her year with honours in dentistry from UCHCEU Universidad Cardenal Herrera in Valencia, Spain. She later completed her MSc. in Aesthetic Dentistry from King’s College London, achieving a MERIT.
In January 2026, she was inducted as a Fellow of the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA), an organization founded in 1936 and built upon principles of integrity and ethics. Fellowship is extended to only 1% globally, with just over 6,000 Fellows worldwide.
In February 2026, she was recognized by Insight Success Magazine as one of the most Influential People who will shape 2026 and will receive the Leadership in Healthcare award at the Global Excellence & Leadership Awards 2026 in Dubai.

To maintain balance, Dr. Gaba consciously disconnects from work through music, travel, cooking, drawing, sports, and spending time with friends and family.
She admits she wishes she had more time to visit loved ones, but she continues striving for better balance while managing her professional commitments.
