Background-

Eapro Global Limited, a manufacturer of solar inverters, batteries and energy storage systems, has closed a Rs 40 crore funding round to support its next phase of expansion.

The round marked one of the first transactions by Kyro India Opportunities Fund I, a SEBI-registered Category II Alternative Investment Fund managed by Kyro Asset Management Private Limited.

The fundraise drew participation from Aarth AIF Growth Fund, NAV Bharat Investment Opportunities Fund, VentureX Fund, Kyro India Opportunities Fund I, and Juggilal Kamlapat Lakshmipat, the JK Family Office, along with other institutional investors and family offices. Kyro Capital Private Limited served as transaction advisor, handling investor identification, structuring and closure.

The company said the fresh capital will help scale manufacturing capacity, strengthen technology capabilities and expand its presence across India’s growing renewable energy and power-backup markets. The proceeds will also go toward Eapro’s initial public offering plans for FY28, as the company holds ongoing talks with potential lead managers and investors.

Eapro’s revenue rose from Rs 199.61 crore in FY25 to Rs 346.39 crore in FY26. EBITDA increased from Rs 26.73 crore to Rs 44.30 crore over the same period, while profit after tax grew from Rs 18.58 crore to Rs 30.54 crore.

Managing Director Jagdeep Chauhan said the fundraise strengthens the company’s balance sheet and positions it to capture growing demand for storage and power-backup solutions.

Kyro India Opportunities Fund founder Aman Maheshwari said Eapro’s position in the sector supported the fund’s decision to back the company as its first investment.
