Background-

Docquity, a clinical AI platform serving more than 75% of verified doctors across Asia, will expand into Japan through a deeper strategic partnership with exMedio Inc., the operator of specialist physician communities Hematology Pro and Hipokura.

Docquity Holdings Pte. Ltd. and Docquity Japan G.K. have signed a memorandum of understanding with exMedio that puts Ask Dx, Docquity’s clinical AI assistant, at the center of the tie-up. T

he two firms began working together earlier when Docquity offered Ask Dx to Hipokura, a consultation community of more than 80,000 physicians. They now plan to build clinical support for Japanese physicians together.

exMedio launched Hematology Pro, and more than 60% of Japan’s hematologists now belong to it. The company plans to extend that model from blood cancers to solid tumors. The partnership will focus on knowledge sharing and clinical support in oncology, with services shaped by feedback from physicians in Japan.

Ask Dx will sit inside the spaces where exMedio’s members learn, consult peers and search for medical information, so it fits into their daily routines.

The companies will also explore knowledge exchange between physician communities in Japan and Southeast Asia under Docquity’s One Asia vision. They will respect differences in language, healthcare systems and practice settings. Over time, they may bring in universities and medical institutions.

Indranil Roychowdhury, CEO and Co-Founder of Docquity, said Japan plays a central role in the company’s goal of Asian Healthcare Intelligence. Keiji Sawada, Representative Director and President of exMedio, said the MOU moves both firms toward co-creating new clinical support.
